AYULANKA Udvartana Body Scrub is made with 100% natural ingredients which transforms into an exfoliating scrub that effectively clears away dirt and impurities of daily life.

The term Udvartana is derived of two Sanskrit words. Ud – upward, varthana – movement. Therefore, Udvartana is applying dry powder or a paste of herbs to the body or face using upward strokes (towards the heart). Udvartana (deep tissue massage) can be incorporated into Dinacarya (daily regime) practices as required.

According to Sushrta Samhitā the process of Udvartana not only purifies skin but have both actions of strengthening the body as well as reducing fat. The main benefit of Udvartana is to remove toxins from the skin. However, Ayurvedic physicians mainly recommend it for reducing excess cellulite and fat accumulated under the skin. It also tones the skin and provides strength to the body. Other benefits include improvement in skin complexion, skin exfoliation, stress relief and relaxation.
