Overview

AYULANKA Beli Mal Herbal Tea is made with powder of dried Beli flower. Beli (Bilva or Bhel) also known as the God’s fruit, has a deep history in Ayurvedic herbal medicine as each part of the tree is regarded to be highly potent in medicinal properties. Bilva is considered as one among Kalpa Vruksha (divine trees) that emerged during the churning of the sea.

Use of dried Beli Mal, as an herbal tea is indigenous, to Sri Lanka and has been a traditional household drink used by the villagers in arid areas of Sri Lanka. Beli Mal herbal drink is commonly sold as a roadside drink for weary travellers to pacify their thirst and to protect against the effects of heat of the sun. AYULANKA brings this tradition to the contemporary society with a high quality and standard in preparation.

It is rich in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, enhances the strength of digestion and other metabolic activities significantly.

Dietary Information:

No added colours, sugar, flavours, aroma, or preservatives. Caffeine free, Vegan friendly, Gluten free, Soya free, Vegetarian, Wheat free, Dairy free.

  • Pacifies all three Dōshas especially pacifying Pitta.
  • Purifies blood and cools the body.
  • Rich in antioxidants, potentiating immunity and reducing inflammation.

How to Use

Add boiling water to ½ to 1 teaspoon of AYULANKA Beli Mal Herbal Tea. For maximum taste, cover and infuse for 7 to 10 minutes, strain and enjoy.

Can also be enjoyed with a piece of Kithul Jaggary.
