Overview

Triphalā (three fruits) is a revered Rasāyana in Ayurvedic medicine promoting longevity and rejuvenation.

“ “yath jarā viyadhi nāshyeth – tat rasāyanam” That which prevents ageing and disease is known as Rasāyana. – Caraka Samhita –

Rasāyana promotes Ojas, the finest product of digestion which helps prevent disease, promote healthy skin and rejuvenation of the body. AYULANKA Triphalā Rasāyana follows the traditional Caraka recipe and consists of 1-part Haritaki, 2-parts Vibhītaki, and 4-parts Āmalaki.

With ingredients rich in components that cleanses impurities, body nurturing and health restoring Triphalā is known in Ayurveda to be effective in many health conditions and recommended for regular use. Triphalā enhances all thirteen Agnis (digestive fires), especially the Pācakāgni, the main digestive fire. Triphalā taken regularly is a powerful anti-ageing Rasāyana.

Triphalā encourages full elimination of body toxins by pulling stagnated Āma or toxic residue from the digestive tract. It also rejuvenates the digestive tract, stimulates appetite and increases absorption in colon. It is also known to reduce serum cholesterol levels, gastric hyperacidity and blood sugar levels.

It is rich in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, radioprotective, antipyretic, analgesic, antibacterial and hepatoprotective properties. Triphalā is also known to improve circulation, prevent dental caries, eye and skin disease, purify urine and prevent urinary tract disease and maintain homeostasis of the endocrine system.

What to Expect:

100 g of Dried Triphalā Rasāyana Powder

How to Use

½ – 1 teaspoon to be taken mixed with ¼ teaspoon of Ghee and ½ – 1 teaspoon of Honey. Once daily, before meals preferably in the morning. If you cannot take Ghee or Honey you may mix with water. Add ½ – 1 teaspoon of Triphalā Rasāyana powder to ½ a cup of boiled and cooled water and keep overnight. Strain and drink in the morning before meals.

Tibetan “king of medicine” Bhaisajyaguru or the healing Buddha is typically depicted as holding the stem of the Harītaki fruit between thumb and forefinger of his right hand and is believed to have a variety of positive and anti-ageing health effects. Caraka Samhita refers to Harītaki Caraka Samhita refers to Harītaki as Sarva Dōsha Prasamani (pacifying all three Dōshas), Vayasthāpani (anti-aging), Tvag-āmayaghni (preventing skin disease) and Srōtōvishōdhini, (clear body channels, microcirculation). Enhances absorption of nutrients in food, promote a healthy heart, healthy liver and spleen and support the immune system. Supports the evacuation of the bowel and urine by improving downward movement of “Apāna Vāta”.

Terminalia belerica

Vibhītaki (Beleric Myrobalan)

Vibhītaki means “the one who keeps away disease”. Another powerful ancient rejuvenator with detoxifying qualities on blood, muscles, and fatty tissues of the body. Both Caraka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita states that Vibhītaki creates balance in the body and acts as a blood purifier. Vibhītaki is very useful with conditions involving excess mucous in the system and is known to promote healthy bone formation.
